The 'Pause Institute
Most clinicians receive little formal training in menopause, yet they see midlife women every day. The Pause Institute exists to close that gap.
The ‘Pause Institute Menopause Course
A Whole-Patient Approach to Menopause:
Evidence, Protocols, and Practice
One tool is never enough for a midlife patient,so we teach the full toolkit.
You no longer have to piece-meal your
menopause education
We’ve put together all the pieces into one course.
Learn, Care, & Support
Midlife women arrive with symptoms that don't fit in one box: broken sleep, anxiety, weight changes, brain fog, hot flashes. Too often, she walks out with a single prescription, a referral, or simply the message that this is her new normal. Most clinicians simply weren't trained for this.

Centuries of women suffered in silence because the research was never done. That stops with us.
Dr. Mary Claire Haver
We Offer the Best Clinician Training Program
The 'Pause Institute curriculum isn't a theoretical framework repackaged as a course. Dr. Mary Claire Haver, MD, FACOG, MSCP, built it in her own clinic, drawing on real patient care and years of experience treating thousands of women.
A board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, Dr. Haver takes a whole-person approach to menopause care. Each plan integrates medical history, symptoms, nutrition, exercise, supplementation, and hormone therapy when appropriate. She continues to be a pioneering voice in the menopause movement, and everything she teaches is grounded in science and research.

Why a clinician wants this
- Your patients are already asking. This gives you a confident answer.

- You don't have to build it yourself. You get the intake packets, lab order sheets, and prescribing guides ready to use.
- It works whatever your starting point. You may have had no menopause training, or you may have prescribed for years without a structured framework.
- You earn CME credit for time you'd invest anyway.
How it's different
- Clinic-tested, not theoretical. The protocols and tools come from real patient care.
- The whole toolkit in one clinical sequence, from lifestyle through labs to hormone therapy, including testosterone.
- A dedicated GLP-1 module on how these medications fit into a menopause plan, a question your patients are already raising.
- Self-paced, where live courses like Harvard's Women's Health and Menopause course are taught live online and in person. Harvard
- Open to any licensed clinician who sees adult women.
